Biomarkers, network biomarkers and dynamical network biomarkers. Biomarkers provide one dimensional information, while network biomarkers provide two dimensional information by adding interactions. DNBs provide a three dimensional image of biomarker-biomarker interactions by showing time-dependent stronger or weaker interactions among biomarkers in the network.
